Samoëns : cafés / restaurants

Samoëns is, above all, a French family resort so you won’t find Michelin star eateries closer than, say Megève or Annecy. But you will eat well, and not too expensively at a wide range of restaurants and bars, most within a 10 minute stroll of the Château.

Savoyard specialities like raclette and tartiflette are based on ham and cheese – but there are many other dishes to suit the family’s palate and budget. You could eat out every night in a different restaurant during a fortnight’s stay. We leave a list of recommended restaurants in the apartment,

Top restaurants and the village wine merchant stock an adventurous range of French wines as well as drinkable local favourites such as Apremont, Roussette, Mondeuse and Gamay. Night life is centred around the village square, with live music in the holiday seasons.
